Quicker than a trip to Whistler, a 1 hour 15 minute charter flight from Vancouver, BC will have you in Bella Coola in no time. Upon landing, the towering peaks of our heli skiing tenure will be in your face, asking to be skiied.
Such fast & easy access allows us to offer heliskiing and riding on both your arrival and departure days! Talk about maximizing your holiday time. With 1.5 million acres of mind-blowing ski & snowboard terrain in our tenure (200 times the size of Whistler Blackcomb), you don't even need to worry about repeating the same lines let alone crossing a track. The terrain is absolutely massive, flanked on all sides by towering granite spires and the giants of the Coast Range. Expect epic 3000-5000 ft descents, even up to 7000ft at their longest. Yes, that's twice the height of Vail, top to bottom, untracked.
Small Groups - Take that massive terrain, then split it amongst a handful of skiers, or even your private group of 4, and you're looking at an insane amount of room to breathe. Small groups are integral to our philosphy - keeping the experience intimate and ensuring you can ski or ride at your own pace. No waiting for stragglers who are 'just resting that bad knee', nor any pressure to ride above your ability level. There's more terrain than you could ski in a lifetime, but you can bite off as much as you can chew, at your own pace.
In keeping with our mandates of small intimate groups and maximum vertical we exclusively fly A-Star B2 helicopters to limit the group size and maximize flexibility. We are not, and never will be, interested in flying large groups in 'tour bus size' helicopters and run 'cruise ship' style lodging with a line up to the buffet table. The guests have spoken - small groups and small heli's is the way you like, and the way we like. It's here to stay.

Before and after the skiing, guests relax in the lodge, a hand-hewn log building with a giant rock fireplace and comfortable seating areas upstairs and a bar and lounge area downstairs. All rooms are single occupancy and have great views of the surrounding Coast peaks. They are clean and warm but basic. All have new furnishings, cotton sheets and down comforters.
